Curriculum

On July 1, 2020, a few amendments to Regulation CC will become effective that will have a major impact on how check holds are placed in your organization. Threshold amounts that relate to funds availability have been increased for inflation. For example, the amount of funds that must be made available the next business day for case-by-case holds is increasing from $200 to $225.  In addition, the threshold (above) for which a large deposit hold can be placed is increasing from $5,000 to $5,525.  While these adjustments appear simple, financial institutions continue to see errors on the front line based on this change. This compliance webinar is designed to assist the front line in understanding the funds availability holds and how to effectively handle these holds.

This branch training is a great webinar for front line teams and for compliance teams to use as a train the trainer presentation.

Topics include:

  • Review of Regulation CC changes
  • Front line challenges with Regulation CC changes
  • Best business practices for effectively incorporating these changes on the front line
