Professionalizing the Role of Retail Bankers

The repetitive simplistic processes of retail banking have or will soon be digitized.  The reason banks need humans is that they are necessary for building rapport, engaging on a human basis, and providing professional counsel in more complex situations.

In this banking webinar, we will discuss how the science and art of retail banking has led many financial institutions to adjust retail bankers’ roles.  These new roles require banks to equip bankers to negotiate with better processes, products, and sales platforms.  We will share the arsenal available to you and your competitors to deliver knowledge and enthusiasm while engaging professionally.

Specific topics will include:

  • Talking dollars, specials, and personalized offers
  • How retail bankers today can model the approach of commercial relationship managers with regard to sophistication and impact on the bank’s bottom line
  • How retail bankers are seizing the opportunity to utilize price differentiation that is in every other consumer facing industry
  • How leadership needs to structure the environment to provide autonomy and growth in expertise in retail banking
